Peaks Coffee Company

In the depressing winter of 2014, Peaks Coffee Company was born in a snowy back yard on a cast iron skillet. In the spring of 2015, they upgraded to a US Royal Roaster #4. Roasting out of a garage, they sold to friends and family. Buying small bags of sustainably and ethically sourced coffee, a community was built in the valleys. Kelsey and Sam have suffered from anxiety and depression for the entirety of their adult lives. During one of her toughest times, Kelsey’s father told her, “life is about enjoying the peaks and enduring the valleys.” On October 3, 2015 the dream Kelsey and Sam created together became a reality. With the overwhelming support of our community, Peaks Coffee Company opened its first retail location in the quaint town of Nelson, N.Y., focused on establishing friendships, both locally and internationally.
