Poor Richard’s Foods was created based on a young man’s love for reading, adventure, and history. As a youth, Richard Kaiser was enthralled with reading, and had a keen interest in American history, notably the life of Benjamin Franklin, who published a yearly almanac under the pen name, “Poor Richard.”
As an adult, Kaiser ventured into the entrepreneurial world of restaurant ownership and development, where patrons were able to dine in concept restaurants based on the classics that Kaiser loved.
Kaiser retired from the restaurant business, but due to popular demand for the sinfully delicious cornbread from his signature restaurant, he formed Poor Richard’s Foods, LLC.
The tag line, “JUST ADD WATER” encourages delivering “DELICIOUS” in a simple way.
