Ingredients
Cake Base
- 4 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 2 sticks butter
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 cups maple syrup
- 2 eggs
- 4 tsp vanilla
Frosting
- 1 stick butter softened
- ⅓ bar cream cheese
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- ¼-½ cup maple syrup
- Confectioners sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Mix flour and baking soda in a small bowl, set aside.
- Mix remaining cake base ingredients in a bowl. Stir in flour and baking soda mixture.
- Pour into 13″x18″ pan and bake for 30-35 minutes. Frost after cooled.
For Frosting
- Mix ingredients in a medium bowl. Add confectioners sugar to reach desired consistency.
