Sammi holds a BA in Communication Studies with a minor in Health Science. With her heart in agriculture and her soul in retail marketing, Sammi’s many years of sales experience will assist you in preparing your product for retail shelves and farmers markets.
Amanda Hewitt, Product Development
Amanda has been involved with Nelson Farms’ mission of NY Quality Food Product Development since its inception in 2003. Amanda holds a degree in Dietetics from SUNY Morrisville and has worked with clients to develop viable food products for twelve years. Her Cooperative Extension experience coupled with her 25+ years in the restaurant industry make Amanda an obvious asset in developing quality foods.
Margie Wilcox, Production Supervisor
Margie has been a loyal member of the Nelson Farms team for five years. She is in charge of administering the 20-C Department of Ag and Markets online training course, while also supervising all Shared Use clients that visit the Nelson Farms kitchen. In her free time, Margie enjoys crafting and spending time with her grandchildren.
